Country Arbors Documents and Forms

RETAIL DIVISION LANDSCAPE INSTALLATION CHECKLIST

We will arrange a date for your planting separately. Due to the variability of the many installations our crew does on any given day we cannot schedule any planting crew to arrive at a specified time. If any unforeseen issue arises, you will be contacted for directions or approval prior to any action being taken.

1. PLANT PLACEMENT MARKING AND J.U.L.I.E. LOCATE

You have been provided pink flags to mark where your plants are to be planted. Place the flag at the DEAD CENTER of where the plant is to be planted. Please insure that the name of the plant is written on the flag and that the flag is in place by the week prior to planting. It is required by law that Country Arbors must contact J.U.L.I.E Locating Service to identify safety hazards prior to any installation work. No work will be done until a clearance number has been issued to us. Locators will be out to your property approximately one week in advanced to planting.

I will pick up markers at the nursery.
I will mark the planting location myself with

2. HOMEOWNER INSTALLED HAZARDS

It is the responsibility of the homeowner to mark any electrical, irrigation, concrete, septic field and all other privately places lines and items which would interfere with the proper installation of the work contracted for. Country Arbors assumes no liability for any damage to unmarked, unidentifiable items or areas.

3. EXTRAORDINARY LABOR REQUIREMENTS

We define extraordinary labor as labor not in the normal scope of a project such as stump removal, buried cement, rock mulch removal, or any other obstructions that significantly hinder the ability of our crews. Identifying such issues up front helps us provide you with an accurate project quote. Any labor beyond what is discussed at the time of purchase will result in a charge of $60 per man hour.

Do you anticipate roots larger than 1 inch?   Yes No
Is tree or shrub removal expected?   Yes No

4. EVERGREEN AND SHRUB STAKING

A limited number of evergreens and shrubs must be staked during the first year. There is a $10 per unit charge for this staking. If any staked plant leans during the one year warranty period we will straighten it at no cost as part of your Customer Assistance Package. If the tree is not staked a $30 Service Call fee per tree will be charged for us to return and stake the tree.

5. WARRANTY AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

Your purchase is covered by a 100% replacement guarantee. Please refer to your Warranty and Special Conditions Certificate included in your packet.

6. WATERING AND POST-PLANTING CARE

We have included a plant care and post-planting care guide in your support packet. Please read and follow it carefully.
