Description: Overlapping petals of magenta purple with plum rings around the centers describe the outstanding flowers of D. 'Shooting Star'. Even more wonderful, they exude the spicy scent of cloves. Though budding is most prolific in early summer, plants will rebloom in the fall if spent flowers are removed. The evergreen foliage is a blue-green, forming compact mounds about 7" tall and wide.
